My niece moved there in September and had some issues in her apartment that needed immediately attention. We had to call maintenance on a Sunday evening and CHRIS came out . He was the on call MAINTENANCE person. Well he was so pleasant and helpful! He apologized for the inconvenience and gave us his word that it would be taken care of. I have to say that he kept his word. All the issues that needed attention were fixed. CHRIS gave us excellent customer service. Just wanted to give a shout out to CHRIS in maintenance!! He’s amazing!
I've lived here for 8 months and so far I haven't had too many issues. The property is very well-kept. It looks great and the staff is super friendly! Here are my issues:
Rent is very high, and the miscellaneous fees really add up every month. Expect to pay about $60 a month on fees.
The car thefts and break ins have been a major issue. My car was stolen a few months ago and there have been multiple cars stolen from this complex, as well as countless vehicle break ins over the last few months. I know this isn't something that can be fixed over night, but security cameras would be a HUGE help. Even putting up signs that say "area monitored by video surveillance" or something would deter people from breaking into vehicles/stealing them. We do have security officers who patrol at night and are on call 24/7 if we feel unsafe or see anything suspicious, but I think management needs to take further steps instead of just sending out emails about about how we need to be aware of our surroundings.
Over all, it's not a bad place to live. The apartments themselves are very well taken care of, and maintenance is usually good about making repairs in a timely manner. Reading the reviews on nearby apartments with similar price points, I'm happy made the choice to live at city park.
I was helped by Mrs fisher wen i came in and she made me feel very comfortable. Gave me all the ins and outs about the apartment showed me my unit and she was very communicative throughout the whole process. Anytime i emailed her or spoke with her she was very responsive and i really appreciate that. I moved in with no problem, and i love my new place. Most other apartments i went to and applied for the front desk people were very rude and unhelpful. I did not get that from Mrs fisher at all so if you are reading this review and are looking to move here i advise you to request Mrs fisher love the neighborhood and all the amenities. If i had to rate my experience I’d give it a 5 star review
We lived in City Park for about 2.5 years. Was overall a good experience. I will say the staff experience was exceptional. My fiancé was pregnant for the second half of our time there and I’m gone a lot for work. Chris Jones specifically was available and ready to help/repair/assist anything knowing I was gone. Good safe feeling. Thanks Chris and City Park
Relocating from the Ohio area and spent an entire weekend touring and visiting apartments. CityPark View was extremely approachable, professional, and welcoming. They answered all of our questions and were the kindest leasing office we encountered. The location to restaurants, coffee, and the city were unbeatable. Plus, the farmer's market, parks, and other outdoor recreational places were within five minutes of the apartments.
** 2 year update!
CityPark has by far the best maintenance response time of any apartment complex in Charlotte. Their staff are honest and very communicative with what types of fixes they can provide. If I put a request in at 8 am they are there within the next few hours.
In addition to maintenance their office is extremely helpful and communicative. I had lost a package in the luxar system around the Black Friday season and they helped locate and hand deliver this package to me.
Lastly the amenities are great! The gyms are clean and fully stocked of equipment. And the overall community feels very safe and walkable.
Used to be a nice place. Way overpriced for what it is now. Multiple car break-ins, property management has dragged their feet with improving security measures. Came under new management a few months ago, it wasn't too bad before that, but now the property staff just don't seem to care. They very clearly have very little sympathy for tenants when we have problems. Maintenance has fallen off too, they used to be very punctual and effective, now they are lethargic and maintenance issues are sometimes closed out without being addressed at all because the maintenance personnel don't bother to look for it at all, even after a detailed description of where the damage was, they have closed out maintenance requests without fixing anything. I cannot recommend this property to anyone. There's much better out there, in nicer parts of town, for a lot cheaper.
I had an amazing experience, everyone is so professional and extremely helpful. I really appreciate Iris, Mindy, Taki, and Cheryl with my move in process. Everything went so smoothly and I absolutely love living here. They had a lovely event for us last night with a live singer and everything. Highly recommend!
Avery was awesome! He came in and took care of our clogged drain- he did a great job cleaning up and was very professional. Thankful for him!
